The LinkedIn platform is an effective vehicle for distributing content, facilitating groups, and engaging members. This has led to associations leveraging it to drive attendance, host group discussions, and provide virtual mentoring to members via an accessible career-management program.

Company Profile Do’s and Don’ts

  • Do include a mission statement, vision, or ideology, and a little association history.
  • Do taut your accomplishments.
  • Do study other Profiles. Look at other associations you look up to, or other companies. Note the style and tone for stand-out profiles.

  • Do not use “canned” invitations when growing your network, but do pay attention to what is on a person’s profile and communicate accordingly.
