Ambassadors for Business (AFB) was established as a non-profit organization in 2017, and one year later membership has surpassed 290. Bob Willbanks, along with GrowthZone software have been with AFB right from the start!

The Challenge: AFB had challenges typical for a start-up non-profit. The top two features on their wish list for an AMS platform were a system that would support a member directory as well as a robust component to manage a wide variety of events from start to finish.

The Solution: GrowthZone was the ideal AMS choice for AFB – offering operational simplicity and the capacity to manage everything from one platform. The association got off on the right foot with GrowthZone software tools, allowing them to streamline all of the components of membership management.

The Results: AFB staff can manage a full calendar of events with their GrowthZone powered website. Having a variety of registration options is perfect for the wide range of member programs. Members can register and pay for events online, saving everyone time before and after each event. The Lists/Committees module allows the staff to effectively notify members about events based on their location.

The GrowthZone solution has also helped with communication among the AFB staff. The many features of the Projects/Tasks module allow for effective project tracking. From events to social media management, and from onboarding new members to email communications, there are lots of tasks to keep an eye on. The AFB staff regularly uses the Project/Tasks module to ensure all projects are progressing as they should.
