The Challenge

For D. Jonathan Griggs, VP of Internal Operations at the Colorado Association of REALTORS, finding a new association management software was all about finding a system his team could truly rely on. While their previous system had served them well for years, as the organization grew, cracks began to show, and key functions like events, communications, and member engagement no longer worked the way they needed to.

"At a certain point, it became my directive to find a better solution," Jonathan said. They needed an easy-to-use solution that could support both staff and members without creating more complexity.

The Solution

That search eventually led the association to GrowthZone. What stood out immediately was how intuitive the platform felt for the people using it every day.

"On the surface, it was the end user experience for our staff," Jonathan shared. "The ease of being able to navigate through the database was number one." For him, adoption mattered just as much as functionality. If the staff couldn't move confidently and easily through the system, it wouldn't deliver value to members.

GrowthZone also stood out because it didn't require patchwork solutions. "It was the amount of functionality that GrowthZone gave us so that we did not have to go find a third party," Jonathan explained. Events, education, communications, and analytics all live in one place, simplifying workflows.

The Results

With GrowthZone in place, Colorado Association of REALTORS gained the simplicity they were looking for. "GrowthZone is a one-stop-shop," Jonathan said. "Not only can it be my AMS for my member management, but it can handle my events, my education, our internal communication, external communication, and give us the superior analytics that we need to better serve those members.

This functionality showed up most clearly in the member experience. Jonathan said, "At the state level, when we go into a database, we need to be able to have a very simple and quick glimpse of every member. One of the things GrowthZone does with its member profile, we have on one tab all the pertinent information that we would need to know about a member."

The onboarding experience also confirmed to the organization that they found a solution and team they could trust. "The onboarding process has been the fastest onboarding process that I have ever participated in in thirty years of being in technology," Jonathan said. Even during data migration, the organization never lost access to their information. "We were never down," he said. "If someone had to pull a member record up, I could still give them access."
