French-American Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta Executive Director Katherine Lafourcade explains how switching from Pay Pal to GrowthZone Pay helped their organization become more efficient.

How do you use GrowthZone Pay?

We use the function for events that we do. We do a lot of events as we’re a nonprofit organization. So, you know, except for the membership, we run through fundraising events as well.  I use the exact same system for big events, sometimes we’ll have, over 200 people attending and again, now the tickets can be paid for through the same system, it’s incredibly quick, very easy, easy to set up. A real a real time saver.

How does it make you more efficient?

Having GrowthZone Pay streamlines the whole the whole payment process. When members pay their invoice, it’s put directly into the system: it shows up as being paid, I’m not having to chase people and things like that, it’s all very quick in a couple of clicks. Whereas if you have it on two separate systems, your time is spent having to look in the other system to cross-match again. So, I have more time for doing other things that I need to do with the chamber, whether it be checking on member satisfaction, just from the other services that we provide, whether it’s communicating about future events, it’s in kind of all the other things that go with the role at the chamber.

How did you handle billing before GrowthZone Pay?

We were using PayPal, and it created more work because it wasn’t integrated into the system. I had to always go backwards and forwards between what was the activity that was happening within PayPal, and then matching it to the rest of the other system. It was basically duplicating work. Whereas now, when people pay their invoice, it goes directly into the system, and then it’s done, and it’s all tallied up.

Would you recommend GrowthZone Pay to others?

I would say that, really, they couldn’t go wrong if they make the switch. I like the system. I like the tool. And what I haven’t mentioned is also the help that’s available if we’ve ever had any issues: I find the team behind the system incredibly responsive, very knowledgeable whenever I’ve had things that I don’t understand or not been able to find. We can do an online chat or a phone call, and there’s always someone there to really help us through, and I would say that’s a very important part as well.
