Employers' Risk Management Association's decision to switch to a different association management software was a necessary one. Their previous CRM was a proprietary system custom-built by a programmer, and it didn't function the way Ryne Stegura and the rest of the team needed.

"We had a very difficult time," Ryne said. What they were looking for was stability, structure, and a system that worked with their team instead of against it.

"The biggest efficiency that we have had adding GrowthZone AMS is the ability to use it for billing. Our scheduled billing is completely automated as of this last month. It just runs automatically to invoice our clients and they have the ability to pay right through GZ Pay. It is super beneficial." What once required hands-on oversight now happens seamlessly in the background, allowing the team to focus on other strategic work.

Beyond accounting, GrowthZone AMS has improved organization across the client database. One feature that stood out was the "more info" section within each client profile. "Being able to have those quick notes about clients that may have particular issues has been amazing for us as a growing company," Ryne said.

The Results

The return on investment has been clear and measurable. Running billing through GrowthZone AMS has streamlined accounting and simplified reporting. "We can pull the reports just to have our books updated," Ryne said.

GrowthZone has also supported stronger member engagement. With the new ability to host and track webinars, the association can see exactly how members are participating. Ryne said, "We've seen a lot more member engagement now that we are able to host webinars. We are able to watch how many attendees we are getting and are seeing a great increase in the number of attendees for those webinars."

Internally, efficiency has improved across the team. The detailed database and robust search functionality allow employees to quickly find the information they need, saving them time.

The onboarding process also reinforced a sense of structure and trust. "Onboarding is always a long process, and you get nervous because you are kind of going into the unknown," Ryne said. "But GrowthZone did a really good job of holding our hands through that and made it pretty painless. The ability to upload everything and view it as we went was very structured." Weekly guidance, clear expectations, and the ability to upload and view data along the way made the transition process manageable and smooth.

Ongoing support has remained just as reliable. Whether reaching out by phone or email, the team always receives quick, helpful responses. "It's very nice to have software that has been around a while," Ryne shared. The built-in resources and responsive support team ensured that questions didn't slow progress.
