The Challenge

When Amanda Webb, Member Services and Operations Specialist at the South West Transit Association, began thinking about migrating to a new website, she knew it needed more than just a visual refresh. The previous site was more than a decade old, and it no longer reflected the professionalism or momentum of the organization.

The transition easily could have been overwhelming, but it wasn't. "When we were thinking about onboarding and migrating, the team at GrowthZone really helped us build the bulk of our website," Amanda shared. Instead of starting from scratch, they had guidance and structure from the beginning.

"The website is really simple to use with the ease of changing things," Amanda said. I think that says something right there."

Even during the building process, GrowthZone's approach reduced stress. For organizations with more static websites, much of the heavy lifting is handled for them. However, for sites with dynamic content, the site needs to be intuitive and manageable for the updates to be easily made. The team found this kind of functionality with GrowthZone.

And when questions arise, support is close at hand. "I use GrowthZone chat support a lot," Amanda said. "Anytime I'm hung up, they're able to help and direct me." This responsiveness provides reassurance that the team is never navigating challenges alone.

The Results

Members noticed the difference right away.

"The feedback that we've received from members is that they love the new look and design," Amanda said. The new website also changed how members interact with the association.

With the ability to post jobs and news directly, members no longer have to wait for staff to upload content on their behalf. This self-service functionality saves time for both sides and gives members more control.

The Info Hub directory has also been very impactful. Members can easily search for businesses and individuals, making prospecting and networking more accessible. Whether someone is looking for a specific company or trying to connect with the right person, the directory provides a clear way to do this.

The feedback that we’ve received from members on our website is first, they love the new look and design, which was very nice to hear. They love the ability to be able to post jobs and news on their own without having to send it to us, wait for us to process it, and then post it."
