The Challenge

Like many chambers, the Twinsburg Chamber relied on multiple systems to manage payments, transactions, and financial reconciliation. This made end-of-month accounting processes more time-consuming than they needed to be.

Because payment data needed to move between ChamberMaster and QuickBooks Online, maintaining efficiency and accuracy was essential. Allyson Tonozzi, Executive Director, wanted a solution that would streamline these workflows and reduce the time spent reconciling transactions each month.

The Solution

After switching to GZ Pay, the Twinsburg Chamber gained a more streamlined and integrated payment process. Transactions flow directly through ChamberMaster and translate smoothly into QuickBooks Online, making financial tracking much easier.

“It has been extremely easy to use,” said Tonozzi. “You click two buttons and there’s a full report of all the transactions in one given month. You can go back and look at everything by transaction, and the fees are all clearly listed.”

Members also benefit from the platform’s convenience, particularly through automated renewal payments.

“They are able to set up auto-pay for their renewals, which any Chamber director can tell you is bliss,” Tonozzi explained. “If someone just pays their invoice every year without even thinking about it, that feature alone is incredibly valuable.”

The Results

Since implementing GZ Pay, the Twinsburg Chamber has significantly improved the efficiency of its financial processes and reduced the time spent managing payments and reconciliations. For Tonozzi, the biggest impact is felt during the monthly bank reconciliation process, which previously required much more manual effort. “That process was probably cut in half,” she said, noting that the streamlined reporting and transaction visibility make it much easier to review and close out each month. The improved efficiency allows the Chamber to spend less time on administrative financial tasks and more time focusing on serving members and supporting chamber programs.
