After years of working with outdated software that lacked updates and modern functionality, the West Volusia REALTORS® Association began searching for a more powerful and flexible association management solution.
The Association needed a centralized platform to manage members, communications, billing, and engagement tools in one place.

The West Volusia REALTORS® Association serves more than 1,000 real estate professionals across Central Florida. According to CEO Ryan Tucholski, their previous member management software had become outdated and difficult to maintain.
The system had not received meaningful updates in nearly fifteen years, limiting the Association’s ability to automate processes or engage members effectively. As a result, staff had to rely on additional platforms such as MailChimp just to achieve basic communication functionality.
“We set out to find a system that didn’t have large upfront costs but would allow us to automate a lot of the things we do,” said Tucholski.
After researching several options and receiving a recommendation from another Florida association, West Volusia REALTORS® selected GrowthZone AMS as their new association management system.
The platform provided a centralized solution for membership management, communication, billing, and engagement tools - all within one system.
“It was like moving from a sandbox to a boardroom,” said Tucholski.
GrowthZone’s Member Center and Info Hub also gave members easier access to resources and services, helping the Association create a true one-stop shop for member engagement. “Everyone loves GrowthZone’s intuitive interface,” Tucholski added. “You barely need instructions on how to use it because it’s that easy.”
Since implementing GrowthZone AMS, the Association has seen major improvements in operational efficiency and member engagement.
One of the most impactful features has been the billing module, which allows the Association to automate recurring payments and manage billing profiles.
For example, the Association leases lockboxes each year. With GrowthZone, staff can simply set up a payment profile and automate the process.
“Before GrowthZone AMS, that task alone was almost a full-time job,” said Tucholski.
Communication efficiency has also improved significantly, with the Association estimating at least a 20% increase in efficiency when communicating with members. Additionally, onboarding new members has become faster and easier.
